About West London

The West End is the historic heart of West London. The area expanded west from the ancient City of London, particularly as the capital's rich and elite looked for new places to live. It grew from the seventeenth to nineteenth centuries as palaces and town houses were built alongside fashionable shops and entertainment venues.
